How to make your users pay!

ITS offers organisations a wide variety of ways in which users can make payment for their print and copy jobs when Pharos Uniprint and or Off-The-Glass are in place. We have attempted to outline many of the possible options on this page, however please do contact us if you have any questions or unique requirements.

Over the Counter Payments

This functionality is included as standard in Uniprint. Users can either visit a member of staff, make payment and the staff member then adds credit to their account, all from the convenience of the Pharos Remote web interface. Alternatively staff can ask users to pay for the exact cost of their queued print jobs, take the payment and then release their jobs either via Pharos Remote or the Pharos Release Station.

Pay-As-You-Go

ITS’ Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) print solution allows users to print to a paused print queue without preloading their accounts with credit. Users go to a print release station attached to a PAYG coin acceptor, they select their print jobs, they are told the cost, they insert coins and only then are jobs printed. ITS’ PAYG system is unique in that it provides change when over-payment is made. Please note that in North America payment can be made by both coin and note (due to the lower value and use of coin currency). Click here to request the brochure in PDF format.

Value Loaders

Uniprint supports hardware-based value loaders that allow users to pay money into their accounts using coins and notes. The user authenticates at the value loader using their username, user ID or one of a wide range of supported cards and adds credit to their account by making coin and or note payments. Web-Payment

ITS’ Indigo solution provides a system of web-based payment for Pharos Uniprint and Off-The-Glass whereby the user logs to the Indigo web interface and adds credit to their account through Indigo’s integration with a range of online payment service providers including WorldPay, PayPal and WPM.
